The Good Neighbour Project, Tunbridge Wells
The Queen's award for voluntary service

Offering social opportunities for the older generation

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Good Neighbours are a local charity offering regular events to help improve the social isolation felt by many in the community.

Good Neighbours' Trustees have a vision to foster friendship in our community and in a very real sense, to bear one another’s burdens.

It has been said that "a friend doubles your joy and divides your sorrows.”
Community and Compassion
We run this event on the first Thursday of every month starting at 12:30pm - 2pm
  • Light lunch with refreshments ( suggested donation of £2.50 per person)

  • taking the opportunity to share words of hope in a world where it is sometimes hard to see the hope, and to

  • demonstrate how love and compassion can make a difference in the lives of those we interact with on a daily basis.

  • All Good Neighbours contacts, their friends and families are invited to attend. (Not suitable for young children)

If you want to be a part of our monthly gathering please email office@goodneighbourproject.org.uk
